Company Overview

Liquidity Services (NASDAQ: LQDT) operates the world’s largest B2B e-commerce marketplace platform for surplus assets, with over $10 billion in completed transactions to more than 5 million qualified buyers worldwide and 15,000 corporate and government sellers. It supports its clients’ sustainability efforts by helping them extend the life of assets, prevent unnecessary waste and carbon emissions, and reduce the number of products headed to landfills.

General Summary

The Finance Associate provides significant customer service for one of our major clients, the Philadelphia Sheriff’s Office, and acts as the “financial bridge” that connects buyers and sellers for settlements, communicating to both parties when funds are received, or in default, etc. The Finance Associate is responsible for the funds of every bidder who submits money for a government sale on Bid4Assets. From a bidder’s initial deposit, through the ultimate collection of settlement funds or the issuance of a refund, the Finance Associate processes funds via our banking, CRM, and financial software, ensuring every dollar is accounted for on its path to a sale or a refund. The Finance Associate also assists with auditing to make sure only qualified bidders gain entry to a sale and that the final totals are correct.
